Edit and Publish
In this session we are going to polish your digital stories and then publish them. We will be adding transitions, pan and zoom, titles and music. Then once we have output the files as a movie we can publish them to DVD and/or upload them to the web.
Publish
- Posting your video online - Just go to one of the online video sites and setup an account. Then upload the .wmv file you "output" from the slide show feature in Photoshop Elements.

Of course, my favorite part of this project is getting to share the amazing stories that students create. So butter up the popcorn and turn down the lights.
Suggestions
- Invite your students families to come in and watch the films.
- Theaters: Ask your local theater or high school auditorium if you could show your films.
- Fund Raising: Have your students pick a local charity or community need and collect a small fee watching the films and donate the money
Grading Criteria and System and/or Evaluation Activities: To receive credit, a student must attend all class sessions, participate in all class activities, and submit an assignment according to the following grading criteria:
For a grade of “P” for passing:
- One digital storytelling project
For a grade of “B”:
- One digital storytelling project
- Lesson plan and materials for delivery of lesson
For a grade of “A”:
- Two digital storytelling projects
- Lesson plan and materials for delivery of both lessons
