Getting Started Using Flash CS4

Take the time to watch these tutorials and make sure to practice the keyboard shortcuts. They will save you tons of time.

  Make sure to practice opening panels, moving panels around and changing workspaces.
• Tools 3:51
  Make sure to practice selecting tools and changing the tool properties.
• Introduction to Layers - 8:46
  Make sure you know how to use all the layer buttons. There might be a little quiz on them.
• Drawing Introduction - 9:32
  Make sure to practice with all these tools and especially the zoom in and out!
• Working with the color mixer (gradients and transparency) 7:23

Time
You will have between 30 - 60 minutes to play around and watch these tutorials. Budget your time and make sure to get through at least the first three.
