Sharing Your Photos
Most people want to share their photographs with others.
Slideshow settings and Sharing an Album (2:57)
Group Albums (2:18)
Group Albums is a new feature of Photoshop.com that allows you and the people of your choice to collaborate on an album. After you invite Collaborators to join a Group Album, both you and the Collaborators can upload photos or videos, and view them in My Library. All members of the Group Album can also edit, copy, print, download, and optionally reshare the pictures in the album.
Group Albums are great if you've recently attended an event and you want to collect photos from all the people who took pictures. Create an Album and add your photos to the album. Then, invite others from the event to become Collaborators (you must know their e-mail address to invite them). Everyone needs a Photoshop.com account to collaborate, which means they can see all the contributed photos, and add some of their own. Other reasons for using Group Albums include sharing a common interest in a particular photography subject, editing contests, and family albums.
Email Form - If you want to test this out by having me send you a request to my group album fill out this form.
Student Projects
There are many ways to use Group Albums to allow student to collaborate on various projects. For example, if you were studying native plants you could hook up with teachers from around the world and each classroom could upload photographs of their native plant life.
Other Online Sharing Tools
http://animoto.com/ - Animoto is an online slideshow tool that allows you to combine images and music into a slideshow.
http://www.flickr.com/tour/10 - Flickr is a very popular photo sharing site.
http://www.shutterfly.com/ - Shutterfly is a photo printing web site but I really like their "share" sites. Here is an example of how my Key Club uses this tool: http://mshskc.shutterfly.com/
