Welcome
Learn how to harness the power of Adobe Photoshop both as a tool to manipulate your video clips and to build art work that you can incorporate into your video projects.
Participants will be able to focus on a range of learning objectives that include: •Opening video clips in Adobe Photoshop and applying a variety of filters, effects, blend modes and layer masks. •Building artwork to incorporate into video production projects such as lower third title overlays, logos and other visual elements. We will also cover layer organization and how to import/manage the layers once you bring them into a video editor like Adobe Premiere. •Building DVD menus with buttons that you can import into Adobe Encore •Building DVD labels and game/jewel case covers

Learning Resources
I have created Flash based tutorials for all the projects we will cover. This method of teaching/learning might be new to you but I think you may find it extremely powerful once you get into it. By putting all my lessons into this web site you have control of your learning. You can go as fast or slow as your learning style requires. You can stop the lesson at any time and practice the techniques or ask me for more clarification. Once you have watched a tutorial, make sure to take the time to practice what you just learned to ensure that you understand the concept.
Edmodo: (Code: WW2234) As the social learning platform for FETC 2012, Edmodo will be used to share presentation materials, encourage discussion among attendees, and network with other educators.
