![]() Discover how you can transform your scanned or digital photographs into dazzling images, and explore activities that will excite and challenge your students. Workshop Teaching StrategyI have created Flash based tutorials for all the projects we will cover. This method of teaching/learning might be new to you but I think you may find it extremely powerful once you get into it. By putting all my lessons into this web site you have control of your learning. You can go as fast or slow as your learning style requires. You can stop the lesson at any time and practice the techniques or ask me for more clarification. Once you have watched a tutorial, make sure to take the time to practice what you just learned to ensure that you understand the concept. Learning Strategy Tutorial (3:07)
Adobe Photoshop Elements includes two primary parts: the Editor and the Organizer. Together they work hand-in-hand to help you find, share, and make corrections to your photographs and images. I have broken the tutorials down into four sections. Of course you can select your own path through these lessons but I encourage you to follow the Workshop Agenda. If you complete the lessons in the agenda, work on practicing the skills you have learned on your own projects. Introduction Agenda| Intermediate Agenda | The Organizer Tutorials | Create Tutorials | The Editor Tutorials Learning ResourcesSince all my lessons are online and on the DVD you got from the workshop you can immediately start using these lessons with your students or share them with the faculty at our school/district. I encourage you to personally take on projects that allow you to practice these techniques. Continue to read some of the excellent books that cover this amazing software, explore the many online resources and learn from you students as they push the limits. I have included a list of my favorite learning resources. Sample FilesWhen you attend my workshop I give you a DVD that contains a bunch of sample files that you are welcome to use while you practice the techniques in the workshop. I encourage you to start with these files and then experiment with the same techniques on your own images. Please copy of the images from the disk to your computer (Here is a tutorial if you need help). Feel free to download a copy of your own images to a folder in the same location. If you are checking this workshop out online, I have posted the images for you to download to your computer. This may take a little while so be patient.
