Writing/History

Greek Gods
In this lesson you will learn how to select part of an image and overlay it on top of another to make a composite image. This is a great assignment when studying Greek gods or just as a writing prompt. Example

Comic Book
In this lesson I will show you how to make your photographs look like comic book characters. I have a whole workshop on this called Photographic Novels using Photoshop CS5 if you are interested.

Out of Bounds
In this lesson you will learn how to create a cool effect that makes your images jump out of their frame.Check out this example of me at our base camp on Mount Ranier.

In this lesson you will learn how to crop an image, add text, shapes, and work with layers. First you will follow along with the tutorial to re-create the example. Then you can use a different image to practice the techniques you learned. Example

Tree Identification
