mshs wildcats ― inspiration from the archives
|
The wildcat is the mascot of Mount Si High School. The library's homepage includes an image from one of the school murals depicting this fierce and noble creature crashing through the southeast wall of the library. We present this image of the spirit of Mount Si as a metaphor of the spirit of the library -- helping library users crash through the human walls of ignorance, apathy, and arrogance. We crash through these walls into the wide open and welcoming realms of knowledge, commitment and humility -- enlightenment! |
